THE CLUB |
RWP is one of the few teams based on the east side of Bristol. It was formed in 1971 by employees of the Robinsons Waxed Paper Co Ltd in Fishponds for company employees and friends. After the first year the original organisers had disbanded but the club continued on independent grounds retaining the name RWP.
RWP is a friendly club with a good mix of standards from good club players to high league standard. At present we have vacancies and are keen to welcome new members; ladies or men, young or old…er! Unfortunately we cannot take beginners. |

CLUB NIGHT |
Wednesday night 8:00pm to 10:00pm. Feather shuttles are used.

LEAGUE TEAMS
|
Match night Wednesday 7:30pm. (PROMPT) One mixed and one men's team in the Mid Glos League. Two mixed, one men's and one ladies team in the Bristol league.

COURTS & FACILITIES
|
Three to four Courts in school sports hall (Grange School, Warmley - along drive, bear left, sports Hall is down path to left of car park). Changing facilities showers and water Fountain available.

MEMBERSHIP
|
Membership: Fee-approximately £100 per year. £3 shuttle fee per week. £3 match fee. Visitors; £5 for a maximum of three sessions. After this they can apply for full membership. Visitors fees paid go towards membership fees if joining. All members become affiliated to Badminton England at no extra cost. |
