NEW COURSE - Bisi for Coaches

 

We are currently re-developing our highly successful ‘Bisi Primary for Teachers’ course to make it suitable for coaches.
The course will provide coaches with all the knowledge they need to allow them to implement Bisi into their coaching sessions to help create ideas and activities for young children. During the course coaches will be provided with a copy of the resource and will be shown how to use it! The resource offers young people a fun, learning and developmental programme, whilst providing coaches informative and practical training course for effective delivery.

              
              30th August 2011 - Wycombe Badminton Centre, Buckinghamshire.

The course is 2 hours and is held in the evenings from 7pm-9pm. The course cost £70 for a Non-Registered coach and £63 for a BADMNTON England registered coach (these prices include the resource).

The deadline for these course are:

                22nd August for the Wycombe Badminton Centre course.

LEVEL 1 COACHING COURSE

The course was organised by Avon county and Keynsham Junior BC.

The course was in big demand and eventually we had to turn a few away because the course was full.

The course tutor John Edwards is pictured centre with Jane Lipton assisting him.
Assessment date was 28th of November 2010 at Broadlands School Keynsham, we are pleased to say, everyone passed

The workshop went very well, 15 coaches and helpers attended.  We had Matt Donovan, a community coach, who gave us some great ideas for fun warm up games for junior players. James Elkin, Somerset County coach, updated us with badminton technique’s and movement ideas, he also reminded us of different teaching methods.
